Chaoyue Nantang, a sales office designed by ZN Design, stands out with its unique approach to embracing nature and local culture in a modern international city. The design draws inspiration from the open natural environment, which is a scarce resource in urban areas. By incorporating elements of marine civilization, the design aims to create a space that reflects the prosperity and charm of a nautical city.

The integration of art installations, such as a ship wood plant device eroded by seawater, tells stories of past cultures and adds a multi-level richness to the space. The realization of the design is a testament to ZN Design's technical prowess. The indoor space utilizes the expression of natural landscapes, integrating a broad vision and a humanistic background. Through meticulous floor plans, 3D models, and on-site stakeouts, the design team ensures a rigorous layout and optimal dimension and light conditions. Chaoyue Nantang spans an impressive 1000 square meters and is located in Ningbo, Zhejiang. The project, which took place from June 2019 to August 2020, faced the challenge of finding the specific character and features of a modern international marine city in an old district lacking natural landscapes. However, through innovative design choices, the space successfully brings the natural landscape from within, providing visitors with a sense of openness and relaxation.

Chaoyue Nantang's design has been recognized for its outstanding creativity and resourcefulness. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2021. This prestigious award is bestowed upon designs that exhibit strong technical and creative skills, incorporating best practices in art, science, design, and technology.
